Katie started her design career at the ripe age of 5 while going with her mom to friends’ homes to help decorate. She would say, “I’m going to work in a grocery store of furniture.”

In 2010, after graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors of Interior Design and a minor in Architecture, she began her actual design career. After designing for nine years, Katie took a break to stay home with her premature twin daughters and toddler son. In 2020, Katie launched Katie Tiffin Designs as a full service design firm.
